Mental Health
Mental Health Promoters working with WAVE are able to assist Primary Schools to develop mentally healthy education settings by:
- Assisting in identification of strengths, opportunities and barriers to a mentally healthy education setting.
- Incorporating mental wellbeing into whole school action plans.
- Providing information and resources to support mental wellbeing.
- Facilitating professional development opportunities for education settings.
- Assisting settings to review and/or develop Mental Health policy/procedure
- Support schools with curriculum implementation.
- Delivering staff mental wellbeing workshops. (Under development).
